Governing Board Member BOB JENSEN provides strong leadership and outstanding service to the William S. Hart Union High School District. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a solid understanding of school district finances.

Bob Jensen knows the importance of community representation and ACCOUNTABILITY on the Board, while safeguarding taxpayer dollars. Elected to the Hart Board in 2009 and 2013, he has served as Board Officer and President. His children are graduates of the Hart District.

Through Bob Jensen's effective and level-headed governance, the William S. Hart Union High School District has:

-- ACHIEVED a national "Best High Schools" top 10% ranking by US News and World Report for ALL six comprehensive district high schools;
-- STRENGTHENED the Career Education program to include 28 career pathways;
-- RECEIVED California Distinguished School recognitions;

-- PREPARED the state-of-the-art Castaic High School for opening in August 2019;
-- ESTABLISHED relationships, partnerships and protocols ensuring safe campuses.

Few challengers in school board races

Friday was the last day for prospective candidates to file their paperwork to run in the upcoming November election, prompting multiple Santa Clarita Valley residents to declare their intentions to run for various school board positions.
